Capture Manager (Air)

Role and Responsibilities

As part of CAE Australia’s Defence and Security IPAC Strategy and Business Development team, the Capture Manager - Air, is responsible for the capture, proposal and submission phases for opportunities identified in the Aerospace Domain across the Indo-Pacific Region.

This role can be located to work from our Head Office in Homebush or Office in Brisbane.

The role we are offering you

• Engaging clients, partners, governments, defence forces, to lead and develop the capture management strategy and plans
• Support the development and positioning of CAE capabilities within the IPAC Defence and Security market
• Leverage all CAE assets in a coordinated plan to win new business
• Successfully shape both client and market perspectives regarding the CAE capability

Our ideal candidate has:

• Tertiary degree in economics, engineering or MBA or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in the Aerospace and Defence industries
• Proven track record in strategic and tactical planning plus execution on major pursuits
• Ideally have a background and/or solid understanding of platform simulation, military training systems, and/or government procurement mechanisms.

Security requirements

As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
