Car Photographer Assistant

Looking for a Fulltime Car Photographer assistant in Perth and surrounding suburbs.

Please only apply for this position if you have a manual license and can drive and manoeuver a manual vehicle. This position requires a confident driver who has experience with driving manual and automatic cars, parking and reversing vehicles in and out of tight spaces. Please note this position has a 12 month contract.

Xcite Advertising Pty Ltd is a National Photography Company that specializes in Automotive Photos and Videos. We are looking for a full-time Car Photographer assistant to join our team.

This position is Monday to Friday, 5 days per week. 38 - 40 hours per week. No Weekend Work. You will be given on-the-job training on our Xcite Photography Standards, as well as the procedures for processing and uploading photos and videos. You are required to wear our supplied Xcite™ uniform. 

All training and equipment will be supplied. A company phone and fuel card will be provided.

A company vehicle will also be provided after the 3 month trial period.

Your role will include but is not limited to:

• Assisting the Car Photographer Manager in Perth
• Manoeuvering vehicles in and out of tight spaces
• Taking photos and videos of vehicles
• Editing and uploading photos and videos
• Training new photographers
• Checking the photographers photo and video quality
• Ensuring the photographers have successfully uploaded all their work 
• Assisting our perth team with equipment and materials needed
• Helping to solve small issues
• Basic administration work: eg Answering phone calls and emails when required, downloading phone apps, updating software, downloading computer software, completing and checking timesheets and vehicle reports
• Picking up and delivering equipment, stickers and more
• Covering personal and holiday leave when required
• Promoting our services
• Other projects, responsibilities and duties may be assigned

Experience & Qualifications:

The ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles

Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for solving problems

Basic Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom editing experience

Basic Photography and Video experience

Previous experience in photographing vehicles is advantageous

Basic computer skills

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

The Ability to operate under pressure

The Ability to work alone and in a team

Outstanding time management skills

An exceptional work ethic and a willingness to learn

A sense of urgency with a proactive approach to starting and completing tasks

High standards of personal presentation

Ability to work outdoors in all weather if needed.

Two work history references required.
