Cardiac Emergency
Australia’s’ first on-site Cardiac Emergency with a 24/7 cardiac registrar and unique specialised emergency model will facilitate timely and effective patient care. As the only 22 bed capacity with embedded cardiology services and integrated model of care, it will provide state-of-the-art technology, including Point of Care Ultrasounds (POCUS) such as bedside Echocardiograms to deliver patient centred modern emergency care with access to cardiac care specialists.
Registered Nurse
As a Registered Nurse (RN) with clinical experience in an emergency and/or critical care setting, you are committed to providing a high standard of evidence-based nursing care. In this Cardiac Emergency RN position, you will have the opportunity to work in an acute setting whilst working collaboratively with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team to provide specialist cardiac patient care. Reporting to the inspiring Nurse Manager Adam Damianopoulos, you will thrive being part of a truly welcoming supportive team that encourages further education including writing research papers within a tertiary hospital. Adam moved from an UK heart hospital to join Australia’s first ever cardiac hospital and has successfully built a values-led team and continues to drive a high performing positive culture. Adam invites critical care nurses passionate about cardiac care to join his friendly, skilled and expanding team.

About You
You’re an accomplished Registered Nurse seeking to advance our clinical experience in emergency and follow your passion in cardiac care. Naturally curious, you are committed to further learning to master your emergency critical care expertise. Unique opportunities to specialise in Cardiac Emergency, and excel in integrating clinical cardiology services, research and education to create a centre of excellence to positively impact patients’ lives.
To ensure your success in this role, you will have following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

• Demonstrated current Emergency/Critical Care clinical skills
• Post graduate certificate or diploma in Emergency Nursing desirable
• Commitment to providing evidence based, patient and family centred care.
• Proven time management skills
• Availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster
• Current AHPRA registration and eligibility to work in Australia
