Flow Cardiac Diagnostics is currently searching for a Cardiac Sonographer minimum one day a week to perform stress echocardiograms at both Robina and Hope Island locations.
Flow Cardiac Diagnostics provides Cardiac testing including echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms and monitor fitting services under the supervision of a team of supportive Cardiologists. Flow's main location is in Robina however we have a fortnightly clinic at Hope Island as well as providing inpatient echocardiogram services to the Tweed and Gold Coast Private Hospitals.
Qualifications & experience
- Successful completion of ASAR accredited postgraduate course in Cardiac Ultrasound
- Proficiency in performing stress echos and resting echos
- Deliver patient centred approach to care
- Demonstrated autonomy and a commitment to quality improvement
- Demonstrate a high level of clinical reasoning skills in relation to echocardiography
- Current ALS1 certification or a willingness to complete this qualification on commencement
Tasks & responsibilities
- Perform both resting and stress echo
- Provide accurate preliminary reports for the cardiologists
- Contribute towards in house education sessions and student supervision
