Primary Objective:
The project will address practical barriers and strengthen enablers for people experiencing Eating Disorders to access effective evidence-based treatment through primary care providers. The focus will be making the most effective use of existing resources through partnerships, training and strengthening existing health pathways to care. This is a connecting role with tri-directional communication between the Eating Disorder Care Coordinator and service providers and GPs, and with the client and their family and/or supports.
The ability to rapidly develop professional and supportive relationships is essential for this position. This is a part time position working 0.8 (30 hrs per week).
