My client is seeking an experienced aged care, Care Manager to join their team

About the role
Our client is currently seeking a Care Manager for their aged care facility based in the coastal town of Victor Harbor, South Australia.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensure the delivery of effective care services
• Oversee the assessment, planning, delivery and monitoring of all care
• Provide education and mentorship to clinical staff
• Ensure the facility operates in line with all relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and professional standards
• Participate in and contribute to quality improvement and continuous improvement programs
• Maintain contact with families through scheduled conferences
• Provide clinical support, guidance and advice to management
• Oversee and report on any clinical incidents and care related events
• Supervise medication management in accordance with regulations, policies and scope of practice
• Assist with the development and reporting of budgets

To be successful in the role you will have:

• Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Experience as a Registered Nurse for 3 years
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar role within aged care
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead and positively influence a multi-disciplinary team
• National Police Check or willing to obtain
• Proof of Influenza & Covid-19 Vaccinations
