About the role
The Associate Nurse Unit Manager is responsible for providing support to the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) in the management of the Intensive Care Unit, and is responsible for coordinating the unit in the absence of the Nurse Unit Manager. Is responsible for assisting the NUM in the co-ordination, provision and evaluation of clinical care. The Associate Nurse Unit Manager is appointed through a merit based selection process.
Qualifications
- Registered or eligible for registration as a General Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
