We are currently seeking experienced Care Workers to provide daily support to residents at our Bethanie Fields Aged Care Facility located in Bunbury (170km South of Perth). Bethanie Fields is a 160-bed facility designed specifically to provide support for people who need 24-hour care, including those with special care needs and dementia.
You will support our residents to improve their quality of life by assisting with day-to-day activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing is maintained while building positive and professional relationships with residents and team members. Our Care Workers are an integral part of the care and support we provide to residents.
We are ideally looking for applicants who can work 30 hours per week across the following shifts on a permanent part-time basis:
6:00am-1:00pm
7:00am-3:00pm
3:00pm-9:00pm
3:00pm-10:00pm
10:00pm-6:00am
The Role
Assess care plans and ensure residents' needs are met
Ensure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic and interest) are delivered in a timely and safe manner
Deliver personal care tasks (including toileting and showering) with dignity and respect
Ensure residents' rooms and the facility environment is maintained to an appropriate standard
About You
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
Previous experience working in an aged care or hospital environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well as a team, and also independently
Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
Current NDIS Clearance or willingness to receive one
Willingness to receive vaccinations
Valid working rights
