- Salary Package: from $99,739 to $108,139 per annum (HEW Level 7), plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading

The Macquarie Business School (MQBS) is looking for a networker who loves creating engaging events and other experiences, connecting our MBA and other postgraduate students with industry partners and alumni.
The role works in our Student Experience team, which delivers a range of programs, events and initiatives to promote student success and experience, execute the School’s Student Experience strategy and enable achievement of the School’s Education and Employability goals and priorities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a suitable candidate with experience in corporate events, career and employability programs, or similar stakeholder engagement initiatives.
The role will see you responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of events and other student experience projects, including concept development, communication strategies, event/ project planning and management, logistics, financial administration and post-event review, analysis and recommendations.

The successful applicant will have a strong customer service focus and be passionate about stakeholder experience, success and retention combined with thorough administration, marketing or event planning experience. You will enjoy working as part of a collaborative, close-knit team, while relishing the responsibility of delivering your own successful events. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to adopt new systems, processes and technology quickly and efficiently.
Your current knowledge of trends, best practice and relevant research relating to stakeholder engagement, or career development and employability will enable you to enhance our MQBS programs and provide advice and support to MQBS post-experience students. You will be able to analyse and interpret data and translate that information into reports and papers.
MQBS embraces flexible working arrangements. Some events will be held during business hours at the Wallumattagal (North Ryde) campus, while some will be held in the evening or over the weekend, at the Wallumattagal or City campus and other Sydney-based locations. The successful applicant will therefore need to be open to flexible hours and arrangements that enable them to attend and oversee the seamless delivery of their events.

Relevant tertiary qualification/s and experience preferably in the higher education sector
Demonstrated experience supporting the design and development of career and employability programs, preferably within post-experience, higher education environment.
Demonstrated experience and a record of achievement in managing the delivery of multiple, concurrent projects, initiatives and programs.
Proven ability to build and sustain strong partnerships with a range of stakeholders to coordinate and promote career and employability programs and alumni relationship management
Proven ability to develop, analyse write and present complex reports and data and identify trends, risk and opportunities
Demonstrated technical proficiency such as using event management platforms and MS office suite
