I'm a single mum with a 17 month old son who is still breastfeeding and not fully sleeping through the night yet. I have pet cats and my disabled mum and brother also live with me currently. They are some help but unable to walk and shush baby to sleep when needed. Please check Gumtree this website sucks.
Your Duties
I would just like to go out for a few hours and need someone who can be here in case my son wakes up. I will have formula made (which he isn't used to but may still assist) and in the case he does wake up he just needs assistance going back to sleep. It should overall be a very chill evening if he does not wake up much.
Our Perfect Caregiver
I would prefer someone laid back, honest and trustworthy who truly believes harm should never come to the innocent. I have pet cats so preferably someone okay with cats being around and who will be happy to relax and watch/listen to the baby monitor. Must be able to comfortably carry 10.5kg baby and walk with him in a dark setting. Must be able to stay calm and collected. Must be gentle and caring. I am initially looking for someone for the occasional night out but once I find someone we are comfortable with and trust I would be open to overnights and longer jobs.
