About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Hobart team. Our Carer Support Officers are at the heart of linking carers to the services they are eligible for - they undertake support planning with carers, using a holistic assessment process, and develop carer action plans.
Positions may be full or part-time and will commence in early 2024.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A carer-focused approach to your work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to think on your feet and creatively solve problems
- A flexible approach to work, working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong planning and organisation skills with a focus on achieving results for carers
- A valid Working with Vulnerable People card
- A current National Police Check
