Cargo Storeperson

Synaco Recruitment are looking for a Cargo Storeperson with forklift and warehousing experience.

We are looking for experienced candidates with the right attitude to get started right away.in an ongoing role with room for progression.

Key Details about the role:

• Pay rate $41.88 FLAT RATE
• MUST be flexible for day shift and night shift
• Immediate start available
• Based @ Perth Airport

Typical daily tasks would consist of the following:

• Hold's a forklift license with 12t forklift experience.
• Operate equipment and vehicles including tow motors and forklifts 
• Basic computer skills - Retrieve data & use printer
• Undertake all relevant freight sortation duties
• Carry out area hazard checks.
• Ensure vehicles are of standard and safe to operate
• Report any faults or irregularities with equipment, facilities or processes
• Manual handling duties:
  freight handling, including receipt and dispatch, sort or breakdown of cargo to customer specifications
• Loading and unloading of freight from ULD’s and vehicles.
• Perform cargo security screening including operating screening equipment such as ETD and X-ray machines.

Successful candidates must possess the following attributes:

• Great attitude with attention to safety and quality
• Good organizational skills
• Work autonomously and in a team environment
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to complete heavy lifting & manual handling

Essential criteria:

• Drivers License
• White Card
• Able to complete site specific inductions
• Reliable travel to and from site
• Pass a Pre Employment Medical

Candidates MUST be able to pass a full medical,drug and alcohol pre-employment test.

• LO Ticket (Desirable)
• Clean Police Clearance
