About the Role
ICC Sydney are looking for Carpark and Logistics Team Member, to assist our Car Park and Logistics Supervisors and Managers in coordinating the efficient daily movement/flow of all vehicle traffic through ICC Sydney's multiple loading docks and car parks.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the recording and directing of all vehicles through our exhibition and convention loading docks.
- Assisting at times in the car parks (after concerts & large exhibitions) in the efficient and safe vehicle exit for customers.
- Be the first point of contact for customers if an issue should arise in one of the ICC Sydney loading docks or car parks.
- Identify risks, concerns or areas of opportunity to improve overall effectiveness of the Car Park & Logistics Team.
Required Skills & Experience
The key to your success will be your ability to demonstrate excellent customer service whilst ensuring the smooth operation of ICC Sydney's loading docks and car parks. In addition to the above, you will have the following:
- Previous experience in a customer facing role will be desirable.
- Flexibility to work a rotating 7-day roster.
- The ability to demonstrate safety and vehicle awareness.
- Strong communication skills.
- Common sense, comfort and understanding around mass vehicle movements.
- SafeWork Traffic Control Work Training Card (preferred)
- Valid working rights in Australia
- You must be 18 years or over
