- Interpret plans, drawings and specifications to determine carpentry requirements for the project
- Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, installation of doors and windows, skirting boards and architraves, and fitting cabinetry
- Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks
- Ensure work is completed to a high standard and within project timelines
- Work collaboratively with other trades and contractors on the project
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and procedures
- Trade qualification in carpentry
- Proven experience in commercial carpentry, with a focus on detailed internal fitouts
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work
- Proficient in interpreting plans and drawings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and procedures
- Own transport and tools
