We work on various government and commercial contracts undertaking everything from day-to-day maintenance through to quoted works.
Our carpenters carry out work inclusive of the following:
- Playground Maintenance
- General breakdown, scheduled and preventative carpentry works both internal & external
- Carry out carpentry works on small minor work projects
- Minor scoping and preparation of works, be able to read plans and drawings
- A good problem-solver and have an all-round construction knowledge
Preferred candidates will have the following:
- Current trade qualification as carpenter
- 3+ years’ experience
- Past experience working on government maintenance contracts or in the commercial sector
- Full Australian Driver’s licence
- Police clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- White card or the ability to obtain one.
- The ability to operate effectively within a team and work unsupervised.
- High work standards
- Own Carpentry trade tools. Any speciality tools will be provided.
- Excellent IT and verbal communication skills
- A strong commitment to safety
- Additional tickets an advantage
- Be willing to adapt quickly to new situations
- Full Australian Working Rights
