The Company

OCS Building Maintenance t/as Midcity Group has provided expert building repairs on residential and commercial properties to the insurance and commercial industries for over 35 years in Western Australia. We expanded into NSW and ACT and have been operating there since 2019 in both the insurance and commercial sectors.

We provide extensive maintenance repairs and larger building works to our Commercial clients across Perth metro and Perth Airport.

The Role

Based at Perth Airport, we are seeking an individual who is an experienced Carpenter / Handyman experience to assist our team in servicing our clients at Perth Airport.

We are seeking an individual who is keen to join a hard working team and is able to be flexible in the working environment.

The successful candidate will be working closely with our Trade Supervisor and sub-contractors to ensure a positive and quality outcome on each job. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry and general maintenance repairs throughout all Airport Terminals as directed by our Trade Supervisor
• Handling repairs to external and internal areas
• Ensure that all works are delivered on-time. 

Key Selection Criteria

• Positive and confident attitude 
• Construction White Card required
• Able to perform within KPI guidelines with a sense of urgency
• Qualified in Carpentry or Trade Certification;
• Excellent communication skills
• Needs to understand and work to OHS legislation and regulations
