Working with a team of Project Managers, Designers, Detailers and Pre-Operations you will also support the mentoring of apprentice carpenters, lead onsite trade contractors, and have significant impact on the quality renovations our clients seek.

The key traits you will need for this role are: -
- An ability to communicate clearly and with confidence.
- To be open to training and completing carpentry works to the highest standards.
- Following detailed specifications to understand what is in and out of scope.
- Being able to read plans and have a good structural knowledge supported by experience in renovations that consist of bathrooms and kitchens.
- Understand the processes of other trade groups i.e. plumbing & electrical
- Exceptional customer service and the respect required whilst in our client’s home.
Reporting to the Project Manager your day to day duties will include: -
- Carrying out room audits upon completion of demolition to ensure the next trade can start work.
- Carry out trade quality inspections
- Demolition / protection
- Subfloors
- New & existing walls, build and straighten
- Structural alterations
- Window / door replacement
- Accessories fit off
- Flexibility to ensure that project timelines are always met
A key leadership role you will have is to develop, train and mentor apprentices, to instil the correct work ethic and to develop their trade skills. Importantly, ensuring they have sound ethical values “Do it the right way, not the easy way”. You will be an active and positive influence within your trades team (about 25 people) and aid the Project Manager to identify works outside the project scope and helping to calculate cost and time variations.
You need to take reasonable care to ensure own health and safety and that of others, including adhering to health and safety policies and applicable safe work procedures.
A fully maintained company vehicle, E-tag and company phone will be supplied to the successful applicants. The successful applicant will be required to complete a National Police check.
