- Key Responsibilities:
Position Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Managing a small team of contractors.
- Ensuring on-site Occupational Health and Safety compliance, including contractor induction and adherence to Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
- Liaising with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns.
- Overseeing the job flow of multiple projects, coordinating labour, materials, and resources.
- Supervising carpenters and subcontractors, providing necessary support to ensure project completion.
- Daily reporting to management on project progress, onsite issues, and scope variations.
- Reading and interpreting plans and scope of work, conducting walkthroughs with clients compiling punch lists and finalising project handover.
Essential Requirements:
- Recognised qualification and proficiency in carpentry and various construction tasks such as framing (timber & steel), suspended ceiling installation, plaster hanging, painting, tiling, and general handyman works.
- Valid white/red card and own tools.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Computer literacy, particularly with MS Office (Outlook and Excel). Familiarity with ServiceM8 is advantageous.
- Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and expand your skill set.
- Attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Access to own transport.
