Cartage/Transport Coordinator (Brisbane)

This International Freight Forwarder located in Eagle Farm is seeking an experienced Cartage/Transport Coordinator to join their team. In the role you will be responsible for processing deliveries for all airfreight, LCL and FCL shipments. You must have some international freight forwarding experience to be considered for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delivery co-ordination for LCL, FCL & Airfreight shipments
• Checking SCA/ACA and clearance status
• Interaction with Customs, AQIS, transport companies, unpack depots, clients and internal departments
• Updating information & POD's in the operating system
• Ensuring documentation and cargo release information is complete and correct
• Providing reports on delivery outcomes

Role Requirements:

• Prior experience in international freight forwarding, preferably in a Cartage/Transport-related capacity
• Experience with Cargowise EDI or similar operating software
• Ability to prioritise and time manage
• Results driven and customer focused
• Ability to solve problems via a common-sense approach
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
• Attention to detail
• Drive to ensure department KPIs and SOPs are met and adhered to
