About The Position

Location: Port Pirie

Status: Part Time FTE 0.4

Closing Date for Applications: 2nd June 2024

The Domestic and Family Violence Service provides support to people who are at risk of, or are experiencing, domestic violence.

As the Case Manager, you will work independently and as part of a team to develop and maintain services to support those impacted by domestic violence. You will provide tailored support to enhance the safety of clients through the provision of professional, high-quality case management, advocacy and counselling.

You will:

  • Have strong relationship building and communication skills.
  • Show proficient time management and organisation skills. 
  • Have a knowledge of key barriers facing people with complex needs. 

It is essential for you to have: 

  • Current Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Relevant experience in Domestic/Family Violence or similar positions, in a paid or voluntary capacity.

It is desirable for you to have: 

  • Certificate IV (or above) in a Human Services related field e.g. Community Services, Disability, Mental Health. Youth Work etc.

A tertiary qualification in a Human Services related discipline (e.g. Social Work) will be highly regarded. 

You may also need to be available for some out of hours work and travel between Uniting Country SA sites or interstate as required.
