The Role
Centacare Domestic Violence Services provide a range of high quality, client focused domestic and family Violence Services in regional South Australia ensuring that victim-survivors and their children experiencing violence are safe and supported in recovery, and in achieving sustainable housing and life outcomes.
The Case Manager is responsible for the provision of specialised Domestic Violence case management and crisis support responses.
This position is funded on a fixed-term opportunity until 30th June 2024. Please see attached position description for full details.
What you need to bring
Essential
- Degree in Social Work and/or demonstrated experience commensurate with the position
- Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (previously known as ‘Child-Related Employment Screening Clearance’).
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Intrastate travel
- Participate in on call roster to provide afterhours crisis response
Desirable
- Extensive demonstrated experience in sectors such as domestic and Aboriginal family violence, mental health, homelessness, case management and/or trauma informed service delivery
