Overview Case Manager - Industrial Deafness - Workers Compensation -NSW We are looking for an experienced Industrial DeafnessCase Manager to join our team in the brand new Parramatta Office. In this role, you will manage claims for hearing loss and whole person impairment. You will be responsible for ensuring quality and ethical liability decisions are made within prescribed timeframes under the relevant NSW legislation. This role provides a unique opportunity to provide specialist support and grow your career in an exciting direction. In our expansion as a 2023 start up and disruptor to the current market, you will lend your experience to build and grow the technical expertise, operations and processes across the function How you'll make an impact Your primary responsibility will be to effectively manage and oversee the entire process Industrial Deafness claims within the workers' compensation system. This will involve Managing all aspects of hearing-related workers compensation claims; Arranging medical and factual investigations to assist with the determination of liability and treatment for Industrial Deafness/hearing loss claims; Reviewing and analysing case documentation, including medical and factual reports, employment history, etc; Participating in key business projects and initiatives, such as learning and development. Engaging with insured employers, injured employees, and legal providers in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for all parties; Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of all interactions and assessments on Guidewire. About you To excel in this role, we are looking for the following experience and attributes: Significant experience in technical or case management roles within a worker's compensation setting, with demonstrated experience in managing Industrial Deafness/hearing loss claims; Knowledge of Workers Compensation Legislation. Exceptional time management and organisational skills; Excellent attention to detail; Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to engage and coach at all levels of organisation; A strategic mindset and approach to work; A strong sense of team and collaboration; What can we offer you?
