  • Full time, Fixed term up to June 2025
  • Located in Wagga Wagga NSW
  • Annual salary between $95,557.70 to $99,848.89
The position provides trauma-informed therapeutic case management to survivors of child sexual abuse who are considering applying to the National Redress Scheme. The Case Manager provides client focused support in a trauma informed context as well as to provide accurate information about the scheme and to assist completing Redress Applications. The Case Manager also works collaboratively with other service providers within a community context.DutiesUnder the direction of the Manager and Senior Clinician, the Case Manager is responsible for:
  • Supporting individuals with complex childhood trauma to re-engage with self-determined services.
  • Providing information and assisting clients in completing and submitting applications about the National Redress Scheme, Find and Connect, and Forced Adoption programs.
  • Conducting risk assessments, developing safety plans, and offering crisis intervention support when necessary.
  • Documenting clients' childhood experiences and providing sensitive documentation.
What you'll need to succeed * Relevant experience and qualification in the field of Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Counselling or Social Science.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively engage over the telephone.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of providing support to clients with complex mental health and functional challenges and supporting clients in crisis that is strengths based and trauma informed.
  • Demonstrated skills in developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with community stakeholders.
