Join our team at New ROADS! Where we offer comprehensive alcohol and other drug (AOD) and comorbidity services. We specialise in 1:1 counseling, group sessions, case management, and residential rehabilitation.
We're seeking a flexible, self-motivated individual with strong therapeutic skills in drug and alcohol support, based at our sites across Metro Adelaide.
This is a Permanent Part-Time Role 0.5FTE, shifts available over a 7 day roster including sleepovers on shift.
The New ROADS Case Worker role incorporates a diverse mix of responsibilities including:
- Office and outreach based, therapeutic and practical AOD services for our residential client group
- Supporting people who are accessing our AOD residential program to make long term, healthy changes in their lives
- Developing partnerships with the community to create better outcomes for clients and drive referrals into the service
- Breaking down the stigma associated with AOD and mental health issues
About You
You will possess a minimum of Cert IV in AOD or currently studying a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or other related field. You will have demonstrated professional experience in providing intensive support and case work with clients.
You will have experience working with internal staff and external stakeholders from other agencies and have a passion for working with clients.
Additionally, you will have a strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse range of clients, community groups and agencies.
Due to transportation of clients, a Driver's Licence is required for this role.
