Despite rapid growth during this period, we remain an Australian owned and family operated with branches now located in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and Cairns.
Due to the growth in our branch in Brisbane we are looking for the next superstar to join our amazing team as our Quality and Delivery Officer. This newly created role is to support and assist the team in the preparation of vehicles for delivery to the customer, and in accordance with the organisation’s strategic plan and objectives. It is an exciting opportunity for the right person and will be another integral member of our already busy operations.
Some of the duties of the role will be -
- Conduct pre-delivery quality inspection of vehicles to ensure conformity of specification and quality.
- Conduct incoming inspection of new vehicles in accordance with specified inspection checklists, including documentation and recording of any non-conformances.
- Photograph vehicles in accordance with specified image checklists.
- Assist in the registration of heavy vehicles.
- Re-locate vehicles to external contractor premises for execution of contractor works and services.
- Deliver vehicles to customers located across Queensland and northern NSW.
- Assist in the receipt of incoming freight, including offloading from freight carriers, inspection and verification, and associated paperwork, and in accordance with obligations under the Chain of Responsibility legislation.
- Assist in the despatch of outgoing freight, including loading to freight carriers, and in accordance with obligations under the Chain of Responsibility legislation.
- Assist in the maintenance of workshop and production facilities, including inspection, cleaning and preventive maintenance activities.
- Support and promote safety and sustainability practices in the workplace in conjunction with management direction.
To be successful in the role you will need to have -
- Ability to follow procedures methodically and work without supervision
- Minimum MR Licence
- Forklift Licence
- Good physical fitness.
- 2 years industry experience
- Excellent time management, supervisory and organisational skills.
