We are looking for a responsible and professional team member, with industry experience, who is energetic and enthusiastic with a strong customer focus.
We need a customer focused person who will help us achieve our vision by building and maintaining strong business relationships with our customers.
The successful applicant:- Will be a casual employee working a minimum of 30 hours per fortnight.
- Will be able to work between the hours of 6:30 am and 6:00 pm.
- Must have previous point of sale and cash handling experience.
- Must have good computer skills including mouse, keyboard and windows.
- Must be available to work weekends and public holidays.
- Has a current “C” class driver’s licence.
- Owns or have regular access to a car.
- Understands the needs of our customers.
- Has the ability to work well in a busy team environment.
- Has enthusiasm to continually learn and increase their product knowledge.
BMS Mitre 10 was established in 1934 and is a trusted progressive locally managed hardware and building material supplier based in Toowoomba on the Darling Downs, Queensland. We have 3 stores located in Toowoomba. BMS Mitre 10 supply hardware, building materials, timber, power tools, hand tools, house paint, plumbing, bathroom fixtures and fittings, electrical fittings and garden products.

Key Responsibilities:Reporting to the Manager will include:
- Face to face customer service and processing sales within the store and over the phone.
- Assist with stock replenishment in store.
- Assist with keeping the overall presentation of the store clean and clear.
- Ensure your health and safety are prioritised in everything you do.
