Casual Academic Outreach Programs

This advertisement is for Casual Academics who have already been invited to apply and have agreed to participate in the Faculty of Science’s Outreach program. Please do not complete this application if you have not previously been invited to apply by the Faculty of Science staffing team.

We are currently looking for Academic Casual staff to perform specified demonstrating-related duties delivering a range of Outreach Programs including within a laboratory environment, around teaching venues on-campus, virtual online delivery and on rare occasion outside of the University campus. The role may also include the development of new outreach content and evaluating and/or updating the quality of existing content.

Casual rates for academic teaching duties include both the presentation or delivery time and the associated working time (including laboratory equipment preparation and pack down where applicable). Casual rates for academic teaching duties will also be provided for training time and any work health and safety induction required.
