We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Temporary Administrative Assistants to support various businesses that work with our organisation. These roles are casual and contract roles and not permanent positions.
As a Temporary Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing Business Support across multiple sectors, including community services, private business, property, legal, and finance. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in diverse environments and industries while studying or looking for short term contracts.
Responsibilities may include:
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and document management.
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries to appropriate personnel.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and format documents, presentations, and reports.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and ensure proper stocking.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence.
- Collaborate with team members and assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in administrative roles, preferably in community services, private business, property, legal, or finance sectors.
- Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Professional phone skills and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
- Previous experience working in diverse sectors or industries is advantageous.
- Certificate IV or Higher in Business Administration
- Certificate 3 or Higher in Community Services
- Baseline or Higher AGSVA Security Clearance
- Certificate IV in Drugs and Alcohol
- Other Business related qualifications
Duration: These are all temporary and contract roles, with some contracts providing the possibility of extension based on performance and individual business needs.
