See Saw Wines is an organic and innovative wine business operating in the picturesque high altitude, cool climate region of Orange NSW. 

We use 25 years of regenerative farming experience to nurture our land and craft cool-climate organic wines. 

For the first time See Saw is establishing a Cellar Door site to showcase our wines and give our customers touch of and connection to the brand.

 About the Role

We are seeking a versatile and passionate Casual Cellar Door Staff Member to join our team. As a Cellar Door team member you will be responsible for working cohesively with the See Saw team to provide an exciting and informative guest experience. 

You will be responsible for delivery of an experience in line with the brand identity, increase wine sales and wine club memberships and educate guests on our sustainable farming and wine making practices. 

Key Responsibilities will include

• Assist the See Saw team to develop the Cellar Door customer experience
• Provide engaging and informative wine tastings, guiding guests through our wine selection and sharing knowledge about our wines and winemaking processes.
• Prepare and serve simple food offerings such as cheese platters or light snacks to accompany wine tastings.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the tasting room and kitchen, including polishing glasses and maintaining presentation standards.
• Process wine sales, handling transactions and providing recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking wines and merchandise as needed.
• Contribute to a positive team environment, supporting colleagues and collaborating to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Operate digital platforms, POS, CRM and online bookings
• Comply with Responsible Service of Alcohol

About you

This position is an outstanding opportunity for a self-motivated, personable, skilled Cellar Door, hospitality, or tourism professional.

You will possess the following:

• Previous experience in the hospitality or wines sales industry or experience in a similar role. 
• An understanding of wine and willingness to learn 
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication 
• NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol 
• Valid driver’s license 
• Available weekends
