We are looking for a Chef with flair and creativity, a passion for fantastic food and a willingness to work in a positive team environment. The position is located in the Eastern Suburbs of Adelaide, in our Education Sector catering for 50 students.
To be a part of this team you will have the ability to focus on multiple tasks and ensure produce is beautifully cooked and exceptionally presented.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Day to day production of all kitchen requirements
- Receiving of goods/storage of food
- Ensuring the highest standards of food presentation & creativity
- Ordering and replenishing stock
- Clean up and area maintenance
- Food handling
- Assisting the Manager
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- Relevant experience in catering environment
- Customer service skills
- Must have own transport and driving licence
- Able to work unsupervised and use own initiative
- Excellent communication skills and impeccable personal presentation
- Strong knowledge of food handling and hygiene principles
