Glenelg Golf Club offers outstanding facilities, including a world class golf course and modern Clubhouse, with extensive bar and bistro facilities.
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated casual Cook to work in our Bistro & Restaurant kitchen, and assist with short order cooking, pizza, a la carte, functions and general kitchen duties.
The successful candidate will need to contribute positively to the culture of the team, with an ability to work with others for the betterment of the team and the final product.
In addition, the Club is looking for someone who possesses the following attributes:
- Minimum 3 years experience in Commercial Cooking. Qualification in Certificate 3 Commercial Cookery desirable but not essential.
- Passionate about local produce and food trends
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able work independently and as a team members required
- Ability to follow recipes and adhere to established procedures
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Immaculate presentation
Applicants must be able to work on a flexible roster, with excellent working hours (appr. 20-25 hours/week) and above award wages.
