Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate Casual Chef to join our team. As a Casual Chef, you will be responsible for cooking our signature dishes for customers, overseeing the preparation and presentation of dishes, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to our established recipes
• Ensure all food is cooked in accordance with food safety and health regulations.
• Assist head chef in food preparation and stocking of ingredients
• Monitor storage, rotation, and usage of ingredients to minimize wastage
• Ensure all dishes are attractively presented and served to meet the standards of the restaurant
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
Qualifications:
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices
• A positive and professional demeanor
