We are a well-established 4-star property with over 130 rooms, 4 function rooms and an a la carte restaurant operating from breakfast to dinner, in Brisbane's Southside.
We are a small team with big plans and exciting new projects and are currently seeking an enthusiastic, high quality experienced chef/cook to join our team.
Our property is based on 10 acres of beautiful gardens which are the pride and joy of the owner. We are proudly family owned and have been here since 1988.
The successful applicants will be positive and outgoing with a can-do attitude.
Applicants with previous experience in a similar role preferred.
In addition to daily kitchen duties your role will include ensuring a high quality of food is delivered to our customers, stock control and the daily management of the kitchen alongside our Head chef. You will have the ability to work with other team members of the kitchen brigade, front of house and functions team. You will be reporting directly to the Head Chef.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic chef/cook to help take our dining experience for our guests to the next level.
As an ideal Applicant for this position you will:
- Be able to give instructions and be willing to follow instructions
- Have a food safety certificate or supervisor (optional)
- Have experience in quality food
- Have good communication skills
- Australian and International Cuisine experience
- Be a Team player
- Be reliable, motivated, organised and clean
- Have a sound passion for food
- prefer can do Morning shifts and night shifts
Flexibility with working hours, ability to work unsupervised and an exceptional eye for detail are key requirements of this role.
