The role of a casual Diploma of Nursing Educator is to provide training and assessment for a students enrolled in the Diploma of Nursing at Open Colleges School of Health. You will be in a key educational position which drives student satisfaction and progression through the Diploma of Nursing qualification.
You will use your skills to create and enhance the learning experience of students using a range of delivery modes, including face to face education, online, Simulation and clinical practice. You will demonstrate your experience in planning, delivering, evaluating, and assessing clinical skills, classroom, and online based learning. As a casual Diploma of Nursing Educator, you will contribute to face to face education, assessment, simulation and clinical placement facilitation over the two-year course.
Your role will:
·Teach: Use your skills to create and enhance the learning experience of students across a range of delivery modes including face to face, online, simulation and clinical practice.
·Assess: Conduct and mark assessments as well as conduct clinical placement reviews
·Expert: Support students with their learning. Ensure up-to-date and engaging content for training, impart expert clinical knowledge and experience to support students reach their education goals.
Can you demonstrate the following;
·Minimum 3-5 years as a Registered Nurse with (AHPRA) and relevant, current, and extensive nursing experience.
·Familiarity with ASQA requirements and Standards for RTOs
·Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or relevant higher level qualifications
·Familiarity with the ANMAC Competency Standards for the Enrolled Nurse and the NMBA Competency Standards for the enrolled Nurse.
·Demonstrated teaching experience including planning, delivering, evaluating and assessing clinical skills, classroom and online learning learning.
·Demonstrated experience in Clinical Placement Facilitation
