We are looking for passionate and creative Chef Manager that take pride in their work to join the 28 Villages team.

- FIFO experience is necessary
The Role
- Maintain effective client and business relationships
- Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, mentoring & training staff
- Buffet style bulk cooking for Breakfast, Crib, Lunch, and / or Dinner and Desserts
- Ensure OH&S compliance, adhering to safe work practices and food handling procedures
- Ensure all catering controls are in place, and wastage is kept to a minimum
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
Essential Criteria
- Chef Qualifications / Cert III in Commercial Cookery
- Passion for food
- Experience within bulk catering environments
- Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
- Experience in menu writing, rostering and cost control
- Experience with hygienic work practices and appropriate HACCP guidelines
- Current valid Driver's License
- Current National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain one)
