We are seeking a Library Officer to provide outstanding customer service support, with fantastic verbal and written communication skills, complimented by strong computer literacy skills. You will have experience dealing with the public in person, on the phone and via email, along with working as part of a team.
Reporting to the Team Leader Technical Services, this position will support the City by:
- Providing an efficient and high-quality library service in a courteous, timely and effective manner to all customers/patrons of the City of Perth Library.
- Contributing to the supervision of the public area of the Library and maintaining an appropriate level of safety.
- Contributing to maintaining the library service area including opening and closing preparation and maintaining shelf order.
- Maintaining system, manual and statistical records, including stock, patron, and financial accounts.
