EF International Language Campus (Gold Coast) is located in the Gold Coast Performance Centre, a mecca for surfers. We deliver General English classes for groups of international students that come for a couple of weeks to enjoy the sunshine and the outdoor activities this location offers.
Our classes are delivered face-to-face over two shifts Monday to Friday between 8.30 AM-2.00 PM, and 1.00PM-6PM. Applicants should be flexible to teach some mornings and some afternoons across the week.
We offer Casual and teaching relief contracts with flexible arrangement, and the salary is determined by the applicant’s qualifications and ESL experience (adults & children). The contract will be subject to the provisions of the Educational Services (Post-Secondary Education) Award 2020. There are multiple roles available for teachers.

Requirements:
The ESL teacher is responsible, on an individual and team basis, for providing students with a variety of classes, resources and activities that enables students to reach their personal needs and objectives They will actively collaborate with all Centre staff to provide a welcoming and professional environment to everyone and a positive learning experience for students.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any major.
- TESOL qualification (e.g. CELTA or Certificate IV in TESOL).
- Statement of hours for any previous ESL teaching experiences. Note – prior experience is not required.
- Two recent references.
- Current or willing to get the blue card.
- Able to teach during the day and afternoon.
- Gold Coast local teacher or able to travel daily to the Gold Coast.
- Participate & lead engaging social activities for the students.
As an English teacher, you will:
