Your role:
As the Teacher Aide you will contribute to the provision of a quality educational service by assisting and supporting teachers with the preparation and enhancement of learning materials and associated activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Display respect and empathy for students with high level needs
- Support students in and out of the classroom, including during playground duty
- Display confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitivity to students and their families
- Assist with personal care needs as required, including general health and safety of students - training will be provided
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and students to support positive outcomes
- Support students with self-regulation and curriculum access
- Support the use of reasonable adjustments for students with disability
- Proven ability to work independently, achieving quality work outcomes
- Demonstrated high-level communication skills
- Efficient multi-tasking, time management and organisational skills
