Casual Events Officer

Overview:
SUMMARY
The College of Design and Social Context (DSC) is seeking a Casual Events Officer to support in the planning and execution of Research events including: research conferences, symposia, industry research events, and research planning activities.
Our ideal candidate will have outstanding communication and collaboration skills across a range of internal and external stakeholders.
This is a hydrid role with both work on Campus in the CBD as well as aspects from home.
KEY RESPONSILIBITIES
Supporting the College of Design and Social Context’s (DSC) Research Events with high quality event planning and delivery support
Booking of research events including: event venues, guests and their travel, catering.
Assist with the creation and distribution of event marketing materials and the collation of feedback from events.
Implement systems for management of research events, resources, and day to day operations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge pertaining to the University and College research activities, policies and current projects
