Palmwoods Bowls Club will be operating as Smoking Billy's. Open for dinner 5 nights and lunch for 3 days a week. At Smoking Billy's, we take pride in sourcing our meats locally and using only real apple wood smoke to infuse our dishes with the most delicious flavors.
Duties and responsibilities will include
+ Prepare and execute high-quality dishes according to menu specifications and standards.
+ Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop weekly specials
+ Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating processes to maintain consistency and quality.
+ Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils for optimal performance.
+ Manage inventory and control food costs while minimizing wastage.
+ Adhere to all sanitation and safety protocols in the kitchen.
+ Provide guidance and training to junior kitchen staff.
Qualifcations
+ Knowledge of various cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and ingredients.
+ Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
+ Strong organizational and leadership skills.
+ Creativity and passion for food
+ Attention to detail in food presentation and flavor profiling.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
+ Relevant culinary qualifications are a plus, but not necessary
