About the role:

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist looking to diversify their Pharmacy portfolio by joining our HPS Pharmacy roster on a casual basis. 

This role may cover BOTH clinical and dispensary pharmacist duties with continual on-the-job training provided for the successful applicants. 

Pharmacists with Community experience are highly encouraged to apply, as our roles are a great pathway to transition into hospital-based pharmacy! 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct medication chart reviews, medication reconciliation and medication management plans
  • Prepare medication profiles
  • Dispense and supply medications in line with legal and professional requirements
  • Clinical liaison with the relevant hospital wards and clinics
  • Assist with business and process improvement.

About you:

  • Current AHPRA Pharmacy Registration 
  • Membership with a Professional Indemnity Insurance provider
  • A high level of attention to detail and precision in record keeping
  • A patient-centric mindset, with strong interpersonal skills and a positive can-do attitude
  • A desire to learn and thrive in a rapidly evolving industry
  • A vibrant personality and excellent Verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative team environment
  • Current Covid-19 vaccinations as per Public Health Orders​​​​
