Goolugatup Heathcote is looking for an Install Coordinator to join our gallery team.
The role would suit someone with professional install experience, an interest in working closely with artists, and a passion for high-quality visual outcomes.
This a casual position and offers up to an expected 55 days per year, with hours organised around install schedules (every 6 weeks) plus flexible floating days in-between.
About the gallery
Goolugatup Heathcote Gallery presents an annual program of contemporary art exhibitions across three gallery spaces. It also produces three special commissioning programs: the site-responsive TILT, the Digital Art Program, and Melville Contemporary.
Part of the City of Melville, the gallery is the heart of the wider Goolugatup cultural precinct, overlooking the river in Applecross, WA. More info about our programs is available on our website – Goolugatup.com

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Essential: Strong technical skills and knowledge of art installation best-practices.
- Essential: Professional art installation experience.
- Essential: Current Australian driver’s License.
- Desirable: Knowledge of current Australian contemporary art practice.
- Desirable: Experience producing exhibitions or exhibiting in a gallery.
