As one of Brisbane’s premier event venues we are known for excellence and professionalism, hosting corporate events, significant milestone celebrations such as weddings, engagements, and other private events. As corporate and private functions vary in timing week to week, the successful candidates will be available for weekdays, weekends, daytime and nighttime shifts.
About the role
BTP Conference and Exhibition Centre is currently looking for positive, hardworking, and reliable Kitchen Attendants to join us on a casual basis. In this role you will be working in a fast-paced kitchen environment under the supervision of our Head Chef. This position will be responsible for general cleaning tasks, basic food preparation and assisting the kitchen team.
To be successful in this position you will have
- The ability to understand and follow instructions.
- A willingness to work and contribute as a member of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm and commitment.
- The ability to work under pressure and multitask.
- Hold a current Food Handlers Certificate.
- Well groomed personal presentation.
