Our service has grown exponentially over the past 6 months, and due to this expansion, we are looking for someone interested in completing a hospitality traineeship and engaging in a kitchen assistant role to work 5 days a week supporting our very experienced and qualified chef.
If you are interested in stepping foot into the early learning/hospitality sector, then this role could be for you.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Kitchen Assistant/Hospitality trainee your duties will be:
Setting up food and drink trolleys
Serving/delivering meals to all age groups within the early learning service
Preparing food
Recording accurate temperatures of food and other crucial documentation part of the services Food Safety Program
Washing dishes
Maintaining cleanliness in service areas
Ensuring that allergies and dietary needs are met for children
Meeting safety, quality and hygiene standards
Setting up cleaning trolleys
Cleaning communal areas including staff room
Restocking all cleaning and hygiene supplies
Completing cleaning records

Qualification's and skills required:
Current WWCC (BlueCard)
Must be willing to study a hospitality qualification through a traineeship/apprenticeship.
Must be willing to complete a food safety supervisor course.
Can do and positive attitude, ready to engage in an amazing team environment
