About the Opportunity
We are looking for highly motivated and reliable casual Kitchen Hands to join the team at AAMI Park. You will work with a great kitchen team in an exciting venue that caters to lots of local and international events. Regular weekly work will be available.
About You
Previous experience as a kitchen attendant/kitchen hand or similar role would be advantageous; however not essential. We are also looking for candidates that possess the following:
- A hands-on approach to work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be a team player and be able to work closely with the entire kitchen and front of house staff.
- Basic literacy and numeracy to read instructions.
- Proficient spoken and written English.
- 100% reliability.
- Able to work unsupervised and keep to a schedule.
Key responsibilities:
- Cleaning plates, glassware, cutlery, and other utensils.
- Cleaning kitchen tools and equipment.
- Removal of rubbish and recycling from kitchens.
- Cleaning floors and general work area cleaning.
- Assisting chefs with food prep and other jobs are required.
