Casual Machine Operator - Night Shift

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a casual Machine Operator for the Night Shift at our Virginia site . This is a perfect role for someone who thrives on challenges and can provide practical solutions to complex problems and has the competency to run machinery and equipment. Home of the Shapes, Jatz and also Cheds!!

The Accountabilities: 

• Setting up, operating and troubleshooting of equipment within Arnott’s OH&S, Quality and Performance Standards
• Production activities associated within the rostered position with reasonable requests for overtime when required
• Cleaning equipment and surrounding work areas
• Other duties as directed within the skills and experience of the successful applicant

The Ingredients for Success:

Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role; 
 

• Previous machine operating experience preferred within a FMCG enviroment
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a Team
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a proven ability to troubleshoot on machines aswell as an understanding of team, safety, and quality operating principles
• Effective communication skills
• The ability to manual handle up to 20kg
• Able to work Night Shifts from 10pm - 6am commencing from Sunday nights on a casual bases - overtime may be required
