Who are we?North Coast Kids is a leading paediatric therapy service located in Grafton on the North Coast of NSW. Grafton is known as the 'Jacaranda City’, which is a beautiful regional town within a 30-45 minute drive to the north coast beaches (Wooli, Minnie Water, Arrawarra and Woolgooga) and Yuraygir National Park.
We are passionate about delivering quality support that is tailored to individual needs, offering both clinic and mobile services. Our clinic is conveniently located in the centre of Grafton, which provides access to well equipped administration support, clinic rooms and two sensory gyms.

Play-based, strength-based, child-led and family-centered approaches are integral to our practice. - 2 hours per week of formal supervision/shadowing/co-therapy in your first 3 months.

- Access to regular upskilling/training by providing a yearly professional development budget of $1000.
- Complete a variety of assessments/reports, which are supported by your clinical lead.
- Provide holistic therapeutic interventions with a key focus on play-based, strength-based and family-orientated approaches.
- Complete necessary progress notes, documentation, and reports.
- Liaise with other professionals e.g. doctors, teachers, other therapists and work colleagues.
- Assist the development and implementation of group and intensive therapy programs.
- Contribute to quality improvement activities, professional development and research.
Essential Criteria:
- Recognised bachelor/masters qualification in relevant field.
- Professional body registration e.g. SPA / AHPRA
- Professional Liability Insurance.
- Hold/Willingness to obtain: Medicare Provider Number, First Aid, and CPR Certificate, Working with Children Check
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
Desirable Criteria:
- Demonstrates knowledge of disability and child development.
- Experience working with a paediatric population, including a neurodiverse caseload.
- Experience and/or training implementing SI, NDT, Hanen (e.g. It Takes Two To Talk, More than Words), DIR Floortime and Intensive Interaction approaches would be highly regarded.
