About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Mobile Patrol/Customer Service Officer to patrol and service a residential community located in Point Cook.
You will be responsible for community based security with an emphasis on exceptional customer service.
The successful applicant will work shifts from 20:00 to 04:00 with some 12 hour day and night shifts when required.
General Role Requirements/Responsibilities:
- Mobile patrolling to ensure the integrity and security of the site
- Observe and report on incidents
- Monitor and review of CCTV
- Responding to home/building alarms duress alarms, smoke alarms in specified time frame and report to Control Room
- Responding to resident queries and phone calls, and providing appropriate customer service advice
- Observing and reporting on activities on the site including traffic, vandalism and suspicious behaviour
- Taking appropriate action in line with SOPs
- Inputting records and information into the system
- Face to face customer service with residents
- Liaising with other internal and external stakeholders including police, local council, Control Room and technicians
- Checking gates and doors to ensure integrity and/or reporting faults
- Additional tasks as directed by the Security Manager
Skills, Experience and Requirements:
- Hold a current VIC Security licence
- Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 and HLTAID010) and CPR Certificate (HLTAID009)
- Full Victorian Drivers Licence
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with computer software/systems i.e. Microsoft Suite, Visitor Sign in system etc
- Excellent organisational skills
- Positive attitude
- High attention to detail
- Proficient in working within a team environment and independently
- Excellent multi-tasking and customer service skills
- Ability to take initiative
- Experience with Alarm Panels advantageous
- Problem solving residential house alarms (training provided)
