Casual Reception Role in a Tourist Park

Alivio Tourist Park Canberra is a busy, guest focused, accommodation property on the north side of Canberra in O'Connor - only 4 km from the city and we are looking for a Receptionist to join our dedicated Front Office Team!

This is a casual position with shifts available morning and afternoon. Morning shifts are typically 7.00am – 2.30pm, middle shifts are 11.00am – 7.00pm and afternoon shifts are 2.30pm – 10.30pm. The right candidate will need to have flexible availability through the week as well as weekends. 

We are currently looking for candidates who can work 3 - 4 shifts per week (24 - 38 hours per week) on a 7-day rotating roster.  

The main duties associated with this role will be to check guests in and out, answer incoming phone calls relating to guest enquiries, entering new bookings into the database and administrative tasks. 

In addition to the above there may also be some light duties in our restaurant, The Verandah, which may include, running and clearing the floor, taking orders using a point-of-sale system, making espresso, cleaning duties, and greeting guests.

*          be fully COVID-19 vaccinated         

Previous accommodation/ travel industry experience will be highly regarded.
