AddressIndie School provides students the opportunity to learn in a supportive environment using individualised learning and education plans, tailored to each student's own education and life circumstances. Smaller class sizes allow students greater opportunity to identify their strengths and work to improve areas in which they lack confidence.
The greatest difference between Indie School and many other alternative education settings is that our foundations lie in Adult Education philosophies. Choice, independence, mutual respect and accountability all have a significant role to play. In return for higher levels of self-responsibility, the students can enjoy some greater freedoms.
The daily CRT rate is $601 per day. CRT’s will receive a full day rate even if they work less than a full day.

Successful Applicants will be required to
- Deliver the teaching program in line with appropriate curriculum.
- Have excellent teacher knowledge, practice and professional engagement.
- Ensure an effective use of time and resources in the delivery of classes aligned to student’s individual learning and pathways plans.
- Promote the school’s alternative educational and strengths-based model to ensure student goals and personal outcomes are progressed with the focus on “Changing the Lives of Young People”.
For this position with our company, applicants must be willing and able to provide:
- National Police Check - issued in the 2 weeks prior to commencement
- Working with Children Check
- Hold a current South Australian teacher registration
